Release of Book 3

We are pleased to announce the release of Book 3 of our Elementary School Math for a Flying University.  This book was the collaborative effort of three authors, and it covers multiple-digit multiplication, the division algorithm and more information on place value in the base 10 numbering system.  Book 3 is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.  We are pleased with the layout and presentation of the material in the book, and we hope that our users will also be pleased.  Also, we welcome comments, constructive criticisms and suggestions for improvement.

Our plans for the future include the following:

• We will combine all the worksheets accompanying Book 1 into a separate workbook, so that all the supplementary exercises are in one document.
• We are working on creating additional supplementary exercises for Book 2, and these, along with the Book 2 worksheets already created, will be combined into another workbook.
• We have tentatively decided that Book 4 will be dedicated to explaining how to set up and solve word problems.  We are also deciding whether to include a discussion of the number line and comparison of quantities using the greater than and less than symbols.  Stay tuned!
